Privacy Policy
This Privacy Policy explains how Family Finance collects, uses, stores, and protects information when you use the Family Finance web and mobile applications.
Information We Collect
Family Finance stores account information such as your name, email address, profile image, family memberships, budget data, transaction records, savings goals, and application settings.
Google Account Information
If you sign in with Google, Family Finance uses your Google account information, including your name, email address, and profile image, to create and secure your account.
Google Sheets Access
If you connect Google Sheets, Family Finance may request read-only access to selected spreadsheet data so the app can import or sync finance records at your direction. Family Finance does not use Google Sheets data for advertising, does not sell Google user data, and does not transfer Google user data except as needed to provide and secure the requested feature.
Family Finance's use and transfer of information received from Google APIs adheres to the Google API Services User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements.
How We Use Information
We use your information to authenticate your account, provide shared family finance features, sync connected services you authorize, display reports, protect active sessions, and troubleshoot the service.
Sharing and Retention
Family Finance shares family workspace data with members of the family groups you join. Private credentials, OAuth tokens, and connected-service secrets are not shown to family members. We retain account and finance records while your account is active or as needed to operate, secure, and comply with legal obligations.
Security
We use authenticated sessions, server-side access controls, token hashing for application sessions, and provider OAuth flows to help protect your data. No internet service can guarantee complete security.
Your Choices
You can disconnect integrations, sign out active sessions, update profile details, and export account data from the application settings. You can also revoke Google access from your Google Account permissions page.
